Chapter 4
As sly as a secret agent fox I slipped out the door and slid on the bag over my dull blue glasses. “Honey you forgot your lunch!” called my mom as she peeked out the door, “and why do you have a paper bag on your head?” She snatched the bag off my head and handed me my lunch. I walked off to school. As soon as I got to school I scurried across the hall and into the boy’s rest room. I figured that if no one saw me, than I could hide in the bathroom all day. I sneaked into a stall and locked the door. I closed the lid and sat down. I should have brought my DSI. I sat there for five more minutes, and then came the flaw to what I had thought to be my greatest backup plan. One of the kinder-garden classes was going on a field trip, and the school rule is that before going on a field trip you must take a bathroom break. A crowd of little kids came rushing in. It was like a bad dream. That’s it! It is a bad dream! I pinched myself. Okay so it wasn’t a dream. Then a brown haired kid decided he would crawl under the stall where I was sitting to see if anybody was actually in there. That was the last straw. I rocketed out of the bathroom, dashed out into the crowded hallway and through the back doors of the school building. Sadly that door happened to be an emergency exit, and as most emergency exits do, an alarm sounded. I dove into the bushes.
i will not be posting any more chapters because when i finish my book i am going to print it and sell it

chapter 3
chapter 3:
That Sunday, right before lights out I decided to make a plan. I must say they really seemed like brilliant plans at the time: PLAN A: STAY HOME SICK. PLAN B: glasses + me=me with a paper bag over my head! Then I promptly shoved a paper bag in my backpack. The next morning I got up moaning and pretending that I had to throw up. I went in to the bathroom and made some barfing sounds. Sadly they weren't good enough barfing sounds so my mom still made me get up and get dressed and ready for school.
chapter 2
here is the second chapter of my book
When I got home I suggested to my mom that we should just throw the note in the trash, as usual my mom ignored the idea and went ahead and read the note. She read the note and as quick as a jack rabbit in a race car, we were off to get glasses. First my mom recommended a pair of sparkly pink and blue ones claiming that, “my friends would love them!” Of course I vetoed those. Eventually I was forced to choose a blue non shiny, non sparkly pair.

author/ chapter 1
Right now I am trying to write a story on the computer so my mom suggested for me to publish one chapter at a time, so here is the first chapter
four eyes
My name is Felix Jackson age eleven, and I have a story to tell. A very strange thing happened not too long ago. I am about to give a full report of what happened in as much detail as I can remember. One day in fifth grade there was a surprise hearing and vision test. Our school does this every once in a while to see if we need glasses or hearing kids. First I had to do the hearing test. The testers explained to me how the test works and so I easily raised my hand every time I heard a beep. No problems there. Then I did the vision test.

PROBLEM! PROBLEM! PROBLEM!
The people that brought the eye chart claimed that I was in great need of glasses. They told me that they could clearly tell when I mistook the letter S for the letter Z, and vice versa. Then in bright purple pen they wrote the words that should never ever be put even remotely near to each other:
To the parents of Felix Jackson,
Today there was a hearing and vision test at your son’s school. Our test concluded with the result that your son needs glasses. Over the weekend please go to an eye doctor to get a new pair of glasses, so that on Monday he can return to school and learn just as well as the other students.
Sincerely, eye doctors of Austin
Now to the doctors this sounded like an ordinary note home to parents, but to me this sounded like a death sentence.

Snails
I now have a few pet snails. Their names are Amanda(who is the biggest), Tina, Charlie, Clouse, Zoe, Billy, and Kirk. did you know that snails poop out of their shells? this is what Amanda the snail looks like:
I haven't taken pictures of the others yet but i will. Amanda's favorite food is carrots. i can tell it is her eating the carrots because she keeps pooping orange. Snails can live from five to fifteen years. in some cases they have been known to live to thirty years.

Camping (after)
On the first day of camping My friends and I went to the river. When we got in I was the the first one to make it across, and the first one to slip in the process of doing so. The next day we went down to the river again. This time we had tubes, so we could go tubing. The tubing course wasn't as fun as it looked. Luke and I decided that we would go and discover an unknown island. we found one ... sort of. It wasn't exactly an island ... and it wasn't exactly an island. It was more like a really tall rock that was sticking ten feet out of the water. Later that day we made s'mores and played hide and seek. When we were playing hide and seek the seeker forgot I was playing and they never found me.

Preparation
Sleepover Camp Out |
When we were finished with that we had to clean out all the trash from the car. Now we are on a search for hats and head lamps. Some of the head lamps might have gotten lost when I had a sleepover camp out in the backyard, like in the picture above.
At least this means we can leave earlier tomorrow...hopefully.
Camping
Tomorrow we are going camping. There are about 14 kids going. The kids are Luke, Molly, Nathanial, Lucia, Willa, Finlay, Matilda, William, Larson, Campbell, Lily, And I. Plus two other kids who are friends of Nathaniel. We are going to Garner state park. We will stay there for three days. The place we are camping has a lake near it, so we can go swimming.
